EDIB Essentials - A Beginners' Guide

Beginner-friendly Lunch & Learn introducing EDIB for VCSE organisations. Learn what it is, why it matters, & simple steps to build inclusion

Join us in our EDIB Essentials course, a simple, practical introduction to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) for those working in VCSE organisations.

This Lunch and Learn session will outline the essentials and show how taking small, simple actions can help you build a more inclusive and welcoming organisation. It is perfect for the nervous, the curious or those just starting to think about EDIB and looking for clear, basic guidance. In it we will cover:

  • What EDIB means in practice

  • Why it matters, and

  • How it can be applied in small, manageable steps within your organisation.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of EDIB and practical advice you can start using straight away.

This beginner-friendly introduction is designed for frontline staff and supports VCSE organisations in Gloucestershire to begin their EDIB journey with confidence.
