Future Leaders Pathway Programme

The Future Leaders Pathway Programme is a leadership development course for people working in Gloucestershire’s VCSE sector who are beginning to step into a leadership role or influence change.

The programme supports emerging leaders to grow their confidence, understand their leadership strengths and develop practical skills to lead inclusive change. It brings together lived experience, equity-centred practice and real-world organisational learning in a supportive and peer-led environment.

About the course

The course will run from April to early July 2026 and includes four half-day, hybrid or in-person sessions at Oxstalls Campus University of Gloucestershire. Sessions take place from 10.00am to 2.30pm and focus on:

  • Leading self (identity, confidence and purpose) on April 15, 2026

  • Leading change (equity, power and systems) on May 13, 2026

  • Leading others (influence, governance and strategy) on June 17, 2026

  • Leading together (collaboration and practice) on July 8, 2026

Alongside the main sessions, participants will also have access to:

  • An onboarding session to introduce the programme (March 25 at 12-1pm)

  • An online masterclass with a sector leader or changemaker

  • Two informal online “Coffee and Chat” sessions

  • An online learning space and a buddy system to share resources, reflect, and stay connected

  • An offboarding session to decide next steps (July 15 between 12-2pm)
