Funding amount and term: usually £3,000 per year for up to three years.

Funding for: ongoing core funding for regular activities or services - not new projects.

Who can apply: registered charities with a total annual expenditure of less than £50,000. They do not fund CICs.

Funding priorities: older people, children and young people, people with physical and mental challenges, education and learning. Charities working in areas of high deprivation or work that is unpopular with other funders. Please see full list here.

Any other information: trustees meet three times a year.
