Our mailing list is definitely not for sale!

You might have received an email last week (the sender changes each time the email goes out), offering to sell our “Registrant/Member” list of “1,000+ contacts”.

We became aware of this at the end of last year after we ticketed our Inclusion Conference publicly through Eventbrite. These scammers scan ticketing sites for keywords (in this case “conference”), then email Charity Commission contact e-mail addresses offering to sell the attendee list.

Please don’t engage with them - the emails aren’t legitimate, and responding to these messages puts you at risk of being added to a “vulnerable” list and targeted in future.

You can help by reporting the messages as being phishing attempts through your e-mail provider. Since we became aware of the issue, we’ve made all of our events private, and accessible only via a link (through our website). Eventually, we’ll fall off the scammer’s list, but until then, please ignore these messages.
