“Staying Well in Winter” with a long-term condition

ICB

Could your organisation support these events?

As we approach the winter months, the ICB are excited to announce that several Primary Care Networks (PCNs) will be running a series of drop-in sessions for invited patients with long-term conditions (some are choosing to invite only those over 65 years of age) throughout October and November.  These sessions will provide a valuable opportunity for patients to access support and resources during the winter season.

They value the support given by VCSE organisations to their communities and would love for you to attend to talk about your service/group in your local area.  It is in a market stall format where people walk around and talk to the different organisations and groups. You will be allocated a table, and the ICB will provide the refreshments!

The ICB acknowledge that the request is short-notice, but if you think you could accommodate it, please let Fran know ( fran.mason-rowland@nhs.net).   It will be on a first-come-first-served basis, as they need to ensure the event capacity limits aren’t breached.

Some services and groups took part last year (which was more COPD focused) and attendees found the events very helpful.
