NHS Change

We work to ensure that charities, community groups and the people they support can understand, contribute to and influence changes in local health services.

We:

  • Keep the sector informed about how changes may affect their work and communities through our mailings.

  • Coordinate the sector’s involvement in consultations, planning and service redesign through the VCSE Strategic Partnership

  • Represent shared VCSE interests within NHS partnerships and decision-making forums.

  • Connect NHS bodies with relevant community organisations and specialist knowledge.

  • Identify opportunities for VCSE organisations to help design and deliver new approaches.

  • Promote collaboration between the NHS, local government and the VCSE sector.
