Maintaining Professional Boundaries in a Trauma Informed Way

This practical and reflective training session explores the importance of healthy professional boundaries within supportive roles.

This practical and reflective training session explores the importance of healthy professional boundaries within supportive and relational roles. Participants will develop a greater understanding of how clear boundaries support safe, ethical, and effective practice while protecting wellbeing and strengthening working relationships.

The session will introduce the “Zone of Unhelpfulness”, helping participants recognise how boundary drift can occur and the impact this can have on clients, colleagues, and organisations.

Participants will also explore how Trauma Informed Approaches support trust, safety, and consistency within professional relationships.

Suitable for staff, volunteers, managers, and practitioners across health, social care, education, housing, and VCSE settings.
