Psychological safety is an environment where your teamfeels safe to speak up with ideas, questions, concerns or mistakes.The result? Improved innovation, problem-solving, inclusion andretention. In this scenario-based training, discover organisationaland interpersonal strategies to foster psychological safety in yourmeetings, communications, and hybrid working patterns.Who is this course for: EveryoneOutcomes By the end of training, participants will be able to:

  1. Define psychological safety and its impact.

  2. Conduct a self-audit of psychological safety within their team.

  3. Implement strategies for inclusive leadership, meetings, boundaries, and feedback.

  4. Create a psychological safety personal development plan

Content

  • Psychological safety: definition and video

  • The business and moral case for psychological safety

  • Self-audit of psychological safety on your team, discussion in groups

  • How to create psychological safety

  • Psychological safety in practice

  • Personal development plan

Please note: Participants are required to bring a pen, paper and phone for exercises and to join individually from a private space (rather than from an open plan office or a meeting room with others).

This course is fully funded for Gloucestershire VCSE Alliance members

And is subsidised for non-member VCSE organisations.

To enable as many groups & organisations to access this course, we limit bookings to two per member organisation. Please note we are unable to accept multiple bookings in one name. If you would like to book more than two spaces, please email bookings@glosalliance.org.uk and we will aim to accommodate individual needs where possible.
