LoveReading4Kids Funding for Schools Scheme
Funding amount and term: grants between £1,000 to £5,000.
Funding for: non-academic books that are read for pleasure.
Who can apply: state-funded schools, primaries, secondaries and early years’ settings - PTAs are not eligible to apply; the application needs to come directly from the school.
Funding priorities: to improve children’s reading standards, particularly amongst children experiencing disadvantage or underrepresentation.
