UK-German Connection Instant Impact and Instant Impact Plus Grants
Funding amount and term: up to £2,500 (Instant Impact) and up to £5,000 (Instant Impact Plus).
Funding for: the Instant Impact grant is for first-time taster trips and group exchange trips in Germany to continue a school or group partnership. The Instant Impact Plus grant offers funding for joint thematic projects and more extensive trips.
Funding priorities: visits must contribute to the young people’s wider learning or skills development through collaboration, discussion and reflection, and be explored from a UK-German perspective.
Who can apply: coordinators and heads of primary, secondary and SEN schools, FE colleges and youth groups based in the UK.
Any other information: funding is open for trips taking place from September 2025 onwards.
Application deadline: ongoing, but at least six weeks in advance of a visit.
