The Football Foundation Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund
Funding amount and term: grants for enhancing your pitch are from £1,920 to £3,200 depending on the pitch size. Grants to sustain your pitch are from £384 to £960 per pitch. Funding is allocated annually and tapered over six years.
Funding for: a tapered six-year grant to help sustain pitches already at a ‘good’ level and enhance pitches that are either considered ‘poor’ or ‘basic’.
Who can apply: grass roots football clubs, leagues, charities, town and parish councils hosting pitches with security of tenure. Educational institutions with community access, and certain National League System and Women’s Football Pyramid clubs.
Funding priorities: as above.
Any other information: applicants must have received a PitchPower Assessment Report which recommends the maintenance works required before applying.
